Last week, I made a pretty yolo decision and bought a ticket to meet up with my two best friends who are backpacking around the the world. We chose the tiny port town of Trieste, Italy simply because it was the cheapest flight out of London. We didn’t know what to expect, since there wasn’t a ton online about this little city, compared to the other big tourist spots in Italy like Rome and Venice. However, upon arrival, we were completely surprised by how beautiful this city was. From the food to the classic architecture, it’s one of the most underrated cities in all of Italy.
The Viale XX Settembre.
My first meal in Trieste– an amazing prosciutto crudo panini.
Mini calzones filled with mozzarella and salami.
The sunsets in Trieste are out of this world.
